Making Your Home Cleaner Without Having To Do All The Work

It doesn’t have to cost a lot to make your home cleaner. You don’t have to spend a lot of money on commercial cleaning products. Instead, you can use items from your pantry. You don’t have to use harsh chemicals and you can even clean hardwood floors with products from your pantry. All you need is a few simple steps and a little knowledge.

Make your own non-toxic household cleaners

Homemade non-toxic household cleaners are a great way to save money and reduce your exposure to harmful chemicals. Not only are they safer for you, they are also more environmentally friendly. You can make these cleaners with simple ingredients and you won’t need hazmat suits to do the job!

White vinegar is one of the best homemade cleaners. White vinegar is a powerful degreaser that can be used in combination with baking soda. To give your homemade cleaner a smell and antimicrobial properties, you can also use essential oils. Your homemade cleaners should be kept in a non-food container to prevent contamination by bacteria and other germs.

Essential oils such as lavender, orange and lemon are common in DIY cleaning products. These oils can be used to add a fragrance, but you should avoid them if your allergies are severe. Borax is another chemical that is commonly found in DIY cleaning products. Borax is a salt made from boron. Borax can cause irritation to your skin and eyes and can disrupt your hormones.

Make a homemade solution for greasy, sticky messes

There are several home remedies that can help you remove greasy and sticky messes. Coconut oil, for example, is a natural and effective degreasing agent. A great degreasing agent is lemon essential oil. You can also use baking soda to scrub away loosened gunk.

Baking soda is a mild alkali that dissolves grease. To remove light grease stains, you can use a mixture of baking soda and water. A plastic scrubber can also be used if the mess is more stubborn. Both of these home remedies can be used to clean up greased kitchen messes.

Make a solution for grimy, hardwood floors

The first step is to make sure the room is empty. This is important so that you don’t damage the laminate core. Next, you should make sure the floor is clean and free of any debris. Leaving debris on the floor will not allow the revitalizer to bond properly and may cause an uneven texture.

Another option is to use vinegar. White vinegar is an effective solution for hardwood floors, but you need to make sure you dilute it with water before applying it to the floor. Avoid using too much water, as excess moisture can damage the finish. Use the vinegar solution by first soaking a clean, damp washcloth. Be sure that it is damp but not dripping wet. Use it to wipe the stains off in a circular motion. You don’t want to rub too hard, as it will spread the grease and scratch the floor finish.

If you don’t want to use vinegar, you can also try using dishwashing liquid. This solution has a pH balance that shouldn’t harm the hardwood. The acidic content of the liquid could cause a hazy effect, so be careful with it.

The accumulation of dirt and other debris is a major problem when cleaning hardwood floors. The best way to prevent this is to keep the floor clean regularly. Dirt, debris, and pet hair can act as sandpaper, damaging the wood surface.
